Bruce is the best... we had a prescription no one could fill and was unwilling to help us find someone who could . Because of the strength, it was hard to find a lab. We had called and went to several places and were turned away. until we found Eye Gear . With out hesitation Bruce made it his mission to get glasses for my special needs son. I have a complicated prescription and have had challenges over the years with getting a good pair of glasses. I was a little skeptical of this new design, but willing to give it a try. I was incredibly impressed with the service and the attentiveness. He was willing to work with me on the price of the frames. And gave genuine suggestions on the lenses I needed considered the type of work I do. It is very clear this man is not in it simply to make money. He genuinely cares about every customer that comes in. And gives you his undivided attention.

Bruce was able to replace the lenses in my frames with new Omnilux no line bifocals as well as same in my RayBan sunglasses for the same price as my former optical place wanted to just replace lenses. That was like getting two for one. PLUS the new lense has much wider field of vision. Combine that with Bruce’s attention to detail and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I suggest Eye Gear Optical for your eye gear needs. Bruce took the time needed for me to pick out a pair of glasses that fit me correctly. I decided to try the Omnilux lenses. It did take me some time to get used to them but I like them much better than the cheap Dollar Tree bifocal glasses.

Best place in town to buy glasses. Bruce is awesome! He helped me pick out my frames, and fitted them perfectly to my face. This is my first pair of bifocals and the Q Lux lens took no time getting used to, and was very affordable! Couldn’t be happier with my experience!

Great place and owner to get good quality, reasonably priced and well fitted eyewear. No insurance needed. Especially if you need a bifocal he has the best lens option in our area. It really is like a single vision lens with no weird blur on the sides. I was hesitant prior to even try a bifocal type lens but if you need one this is the place to go for any prescription. As a nearsighted person with a heavy stigmatism I've been removing my glasses forever to read up close. Now I can actually use my glasses!

Recently searched for a good mom and pop store for a pair of prescription sunglasses. I heard about this store in a radio ad, and super glad I gave them a chance. Down home, friendly, and patient with me making my choice. In turn, provided me with an awesome pair of prescription sunglasses. Price was excellent and on par with what I paid at Costco and by far better quality!! I’ll definitely be back for reading glasses.
